Chamomile (Chamomilla recutita)
Chamomile contains various bioactive phytochemicals that provide countless therapeutic effects. Chamomile is calming and healing, acting on the whole digestive system, and is well known for its soothing, sedative effect on the nervous system, easing IBS, anxiety and insomnia.

Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia)
Lavender is calming to both the digestive system and to the mind. It has a strengthening action to the nervous system and can be useful in anxiety, depression, and in promoting natural sleep.

Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis)
Lemon balm has been used traditionally to treat insomnia, irritability, anxiety and depression. It also eases digestive issues associated with stress

Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra)
Licorice is thought to harmonise all the actions of the other herbs when in combination formulas. It works on the adrenal glands helping to cope with the effects of stress, and soothes the mucous membranes making it perfect for digestive and respiratory conditions.

Licorice should be avoided in those with hypertension and in pregnancy.

Linden Blossom (Tilia x vulgaris)
Linden Blossom helps to calm the nervous system and induce sleep. This sweet tasting herb is known to reduce tension headaches and high blood pressure, specifically relating to stress.
