Licorice, Dandelion Root, Nettle, Fennel, Peppermint

Infuse a single, generous teaspoon per cup for 3 to 5+ minutes.

Dandelion Root (Taraxacum offinicalis radix)
This bitter herb is high in vitamins and minerals, is stimulating to the digestion and is a key herb for boosting liver detoxification.

Avoid in cases of biliary obstruction.

Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare)
Fennel is an excellent digestive remedy, which relieves bloating and cramping, whilst stimulating digestion and appetite. It has a calming effect on the respiratory system, and increases milk flow in breastfeeding mothers.

Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra)
Licorice is thought to harmonise all the actions of the other herbs when in combination formulas. It works on the adrenal glands helping to cope with the effects of stress, and soothes the mucous membranes making it perfect for digestive and respiratory conditions.

Licorice should be avoided in those with hypertension and in pregnancy.

Nettle (Urtica dioica)
Nettle is strongly antioxidant, highly nutritious and gently cleanses the body of toxins. It is beneficial for skin conditions such as eczema and dermatitis.

Peppermint (Mentha x piperita)
Peppermint is commonly used to enhance digestion, soothe an upset stomach, and is valuable in the treatment of fevers, colds and flu.
